Our Take
Current Grand 2-in-1 starts at a much larger child size than many older combination-seat reviews suggest. We would not buy it for a small toddler on the basis of older 22 lb information. For a child who meets the current range, it offers a simple budget harness-to-booster layout, but independent testing is critical of comfort and comparative performance. Its short booster height ceiling is another reason to compare dedicated boosters and alternative combination seats before choosing.
What we like
- Light conventional combination-seat design
- Accessible price positioning
- Removable cup holders
Worth knowing
- Current harness minimum is 40 lb and 43.4 inches.
- Independent comparative review is unfavorable.
