GooGaia is a research and comparison site. There are no accounts, no checkout, and no contact forms that store your details on our servers. We collect the minimum needed to run and improve the site, and we do not sell your personal information. Ever.

Who We Are

Information We Collect

• Information on your device. Features like Favorites and the Compare tray are saved in your browser’s local storage. These stay on your device — they are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring pages, and approximate region. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and to understand aggregate traffic.
• Analytics. We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand which pages are helpful in aggregate. We do not use advertising networks or cross-site tracking pixels.
• Messages you send us. If you email us or write through our contact page, we receive the message and your email address so we can reply. We keep those messages only as long as needed to answer and improve the site.

How We Use Information

• To operate, secure, and debug the site.
• To understand, in aggregate, which products and guides are useful.
• To respond to your questions and feedback.

We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

GooGaia itself does not require cookies to work. Your favorites, comparison list, and preferences live in local storage on your device. Third-party sites you reach through our retailer links may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Third-Party Links

Product pages and guides link to retailers such as Amazon and other stores. Once you click through, you are on that retailer’s website, governed by its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review them — they collect much more than we do.

Service Providers

We share data only with the vendors that help us host and maintain the site (for example, our web hosting provider). They process data on our behalf under their own terms and are not permitted to sell it.

Children’s Privacy

GooGaia is a resource for parents and caregivers, not a service for children. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

• Clear your favorites, compare list, and preferences at any time by clearing your browser’s stored site data.
• Ask us what we know from your messages, or ask us to delete them, by emailing info@googaia.com.
• Use your browser’s Do Not Track and privacy settings; we do not try to work around them.

Data Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and operations. Messages you send us are kept while they remain relevant to answering you or improving the site, then deleted.

International Visitors

GooGaia is operated in the United States. If you visit from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, note that we aim to keep data collection minimal by design, and your use of the site means information may be processed in the United States.

If we make meaningful changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced on this page.
