Our Take
TrioGrow SnugLock LX is most compelling for families who want help getting a tight installation without buying a heavier rotating seat. Its three stages cover the usual progression through a highback booster, and the fit review gives useful examples across ages. The linked Sonic LX is an earlier generation, so we would read its manual as a complete set of instructions rather than combine it with a newer TrioGrow listing. Keep a child rear-facing until the applicable rear-facing limit is reached.
What we like
- SnugLock installation assistance
- Three useful stages
- Integrated harness storage for booster conversion
Worth knowing
- The linked LX generation has different limits from current non-LX TrioGrow listings.
- No backless booster mode.
