Our Take
The 4Ever DLX is an appealing choice for families who prefer one familiar seat through several stages. Its four modes and removable cover provide practical convenience, and the independent reviews give useful support for its everyday usability. The trade-off is size: at a published 21.5 inches wide, it is a poor first bet for a crowded three-across arrangement. Its rear-facing weight limit is also 40 lb, below the Extend2Fit 3-in-1’s 50 lb. We would choose it for a vehicle where it fits comfortably and where simple stage changes matter more than maximizing rear-facing weight capacity. Treat the ten-year lifespan as an expiration limit; the child’s fit may call for another booster sooner.
What we like
- Four usable configurations, including a backless booster.
- No-rethread harness and RapidRemove cover.
Worth knowing
- Published 21.5 in width can complicate adjacent seats.
- 40 lb rear-facing maximum; no rotation.
