Our Take
GoTime LX is a useful budget booster when low weight and a removable back matter more than premium finish. It is not especially narrow externally, even though the seating area may feel snug for some children. We would test shoulder-belt retraction through the guide and ask the child to buckle in the actual car. Current manufacturer guidance starts at age five; older age-four references should not silently replace that. It can be a practical carpool choice once the child meets all fit and posture requirements.
What we like
- Light highback configuration
- Removable backrest
- Two integrated cup holders
Worth knowing
- Guide shape can affect shoulder-belt retraction in some cars.
