Our Take
MyFit ClearTex is a strong candidate for a child who has finished rear-facing but still benefits from a tall harness. The 54-inch standing-height ceiling and 20-inch maximum harness slot are useful distinctions, though the shoulders must still fit the approved harness position. Its weight makes it more suited to regular use in one car than frequent carrying. We would choose it for fit and installation quality, while keeping the current ClearTex model separate from earlier MyFit Zip Air versions and their recall.
