Our Take
Current Highpoint is worth considering for a taller booster-ready child who benefits from an adjustable highback and a defined lap-belt positioner. The two-stage configuration gives it flexibility, but its backless minimums are higher than its highback minimums. We would practice the SecureGuard routing with the child and check that it is used correctly on every trip. Older Highpoint reviews and retailer listings can describe a different single-stage version, so the current 2-Stage name and actual seat label matter.
What we like
- Two booster configurations
- SecureGuard lap-belt positioning clip
- Quick-push lower-anchor connection
Worth knowing
- Backless mode starts at 48 lb and 46 inches on the current page.
- Older Highpoint versions should not be merged with the current 2-Stage model.
