Our Take

The Melio Carbon offers a reversible urban seat and carbon frame at a published 13 lb. Its one-hand fold is useful for stairs and car trips, but the 29.3 × 19.3 × 15.4 in package is larger than the smallest travel strollers. The supplied kit includes infant-seat adapters; these save an adapter purchase, rather than making the connection adapter-free.

The stroller seat starts at six months in the checked US information. Newborn use needs the documented Melio Cot or an approved CYBEX infant seat, purchased separately. The official FAQ’s conflicting third-party answers do not establish Nuna or Maxi-Cosi fit.

What we like - Low published weight for a reversible-seat stroller. - Included CYBEX infant-seat adapters and rain cover.

Worth knowing - Fuller folded package than an ultracompact travel stroller. - Newborn cot/seat costs extra; third-party infant-seat fit is not established.

Best for Caregivers wanting a light urban stroller with parent-facing seating.

Consider another option if You need the smallest cabin fold or a verified non-CYBEX infant-seat combination.

What we like

13 lb with a one-hand compact fold that closes to 29.3 x 19.3 x 15.4 in
Adapters for CYBEX infant car seats ship in the box, making the early travel-system route adapter-free
Reversible seat unit, one-hand near-flat recline and one-pull harness
Rear-wheel suspension with front shock absorbers
Supreme XXL canopy in UPF50+ fabric with two mesh windows

Worth knowing

The seat unit starts at 6 months; from-birth riding needs the Melio Cot or a CYBEX infant car seat, sold separately
Official FAQ answers disagree about Nuna and Maxi-Cosi seat fitment, so only CYBEX infant seats are confirmed
Basket load limit, wheel construction type and maximum child height are not published
The cup holder also appears in the manufacturer accessory list, so confirm the box contents when ordering

Best for

Caregivers who want a light full-size urban stroller with a genuine one-hand fold and a well-equipped box, and who plan a CYBEX infant car seat for the early months.

Consider another option if

You need certainty about a non-CYBEX infant car seat, a published basket weight limit, or a documented from-birth lie-flat ride that adds no carry cot or car seat.

Verify compatibility with CYBEX

Check before buying

If you plan a Nuna or Maxi-Cosi infant car seat, confirm fitment with CYBEX first because the official FAQ answers conflict; also confirm the Moon Black colorway and the box list on the buy page.
Single-stroller configuration. Seat unit from 6 months; from-birth rides only via the Melio Cot, the Fold Lux Carry Cot, or a CYBEX infant car seat, all sold separately. Third-party infant-seat fitment is unconfirmed (see the disagreement note in the sources).
The official US product page FAQ contradicts itself on third-party infant car seats — confirm the current figure with the manufacturer or retailer before buying.
The Cup Holder and Rain Cover appear in the page's What's Included box list, while a 'Stroller Cup Holder' also appears in the Compatible-with accessory list; both items are treated as included per the What's Included section. — confirm the current figure with the manufacturer or retailer before buying.
The US illustration booklet prints three maximum-weight figures (0.5 kg, 25 kg, 5 kg) without text labels; only 25 kg matches the published child weight limit on the product page, so the other two figures are not attributed to any component and stay unused. — confirm the current figure with the manufacturer or retailer before buying.

Helpful Questions

Can a newborn ride in the Melio Carbon?

Yes, from birth - but not in the seat unit, which the manufacturer rates from 6 months. For a younger infant, attach the Melio Cot or a CYBEX infant car seat using the adapters that ship with the stroller; the cot and the car seats are sold separately.

Will a Nuna or Maxi-Cosi infant car seat attach?

The official FAQ gives two different answers: one says only CYBEX infant seats are designed to be compatible, while another says the included adapters are generally compatible with most Nuna and Maxi-Cosi seats. Only CYBEX infant seats are confirmed here, so check your specific seat with CYBEX before relying on the third-party route.

How compact does it fold?

The one-hand compact fold closes the stroller to 29.3 x 19.3 x 15.4 in; the manufacturer describes those compact folded dimensions as making the stroller easy to stow and go.

What warranty applies?

CYBEX's US warranty booklet states a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing and material defects. Misuse, normal wear and unauthorized service are excluded, and claims go through the original retailer with proof of purchase.
