Our Take
The KidFit ClearTex Plus is an appealing booster for everyday use when the child is ready to sit correctly with the vehicle belt. Its lower anchors help keep the booster in place, and the quick release is useful when it must move between vehicles. We like those practical features, but they should not obscure mixed independent testing: BabyGearLab found it easy to use while criticizing head support and the tested fabric. We would buy it for verified belt fit and convenient handling, rather than label it the best-performing booster overall. Check the 44-inch minimum carefully; many children who meet a weight minimum will still be too short or not ready to sit properly for the entire ride.
What we like
- Quick-release lower anchors and folding cup holders.
- Converts from highback to backless use.
Worth knowing
- 44 in minimum height as well as age and weight requirements.
- Independent reviewers did not find class-leading head support or crash-analysis performance.
