Our Take

The Fox 5 Renew is Bugaboo's comfort all-terrain single, and this 2-in-1 ships the newborn kit complete: bassinet with PureBreeze mattress and the reversible toddler seat in one box. The bassinet is documented to 9 kg or about 6 months, the seat to 22 kg up to 48 months, with a 10 kg basket, adjustable handlebar and a self-standing fold, seat or bassinet left on.

The listing holds 4.5 out of 5 across 23 ratings, and the eight owner reviews behind it lean warm on the everyday feel: smooth push, light handling, easy one-hand fold, with the Misty White fabric singled out more than once. Two of the eight are free-product Vine reviews, so that signal stays soft at this size. One 1-star owner describes a bassinet that slopes slightly toward the head, a frustrating fold and a delayed refund on a return - one report, not a pattern, but the honest counterweight to the praise.

The trade-offs are premium realities: car seat adapters, footmuffs and cup holders are sold separately, the stroller weighs 12.3 kg with the seat, and Bugaboo publishes no maximum child height. The two-year warranty doubles to four with product registration.

What we like

  • Bassinet fabric set, PureBreeze mattress and toddler seat all ship in the box, so the lie-flat stage and the seated stage both start covered
  • Extra-large puncture-proof wheels and full suspension, documented for all-terrain use
  • One-hand fold into a self-standing package with the bassinet or seat still attached, in one-piece and two-piece variants
  • 10 kg underseat basket with extendable panels, plus a height-adjustable handlebar from 92 to 108 cm
  • 4-year warranty when buying direct from Bugaboo, and the 2-year standard warranty doubles to 4 years with online registration

Worth knowing

  • Car seat adapters, footmuffs and cup holders are sold separately, so a travel-system route costs extra
  • One 1-star reviewer calls the bassinet slope and the folding mechanism problems and rates the price not worth it; the read sample is small
  • No maximum child height is published, and the official English-language text never states the brake type
  • The independent UK review's score for this exact model is paywalled, so no third-party test number backs the ride claims publicly

Best for

Caregivers who want one all-terrain single that carries a baby in the included bassinet set and a toddler in the seat, without a second purchase for the core configuration.

Consider another option if

You want an infant car seat riding on the chassis out of the box, since the Bugaboo car seat adapters are sold separately.
