The original US Butterfly 2 is a compact travel stroller with a one-hand standing fold, a published 16 lb weight and a 17.6 lb basket allowance. Its US seat is not fully flat: Consumer Reports measured a maximum recline of 147°. The flatter international seat and the newer Butterfly 2 Plus must not be treated as this older US model.

For a newborn, this page identifies the approved infant-seat route with separately purchased adapters. It does not promise that the bare seat or an international Baby Nest provides a US newborn configuration.
